Our Programs & Activities
Educating our children constitutes a profound religious obligation. It is imperative that we exert every effort to impart the teachings of Islam to our offspring, utilizing the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah. This endeavor will enable them to embrace Islam to its fullest extent, thereby attaining peace and success in both their earthly existence and the hereafter. The Quran represents the most significant gift bestowed upon us by Allah (swt). Regardless of our age, it is essential for us as a community to engage in the recitation, comprehension, and application of the Holy Quran, integrating its principles into our daily lives, as it serves as our comprehensive guide throughout our lives.
Quran Classes
The Quran classes offered at the masjid are integral to our mission. These classes are meticulously designed to facilitate students in their memorization through systematic repetition and collective recitation. Furthermore, they aim to enhance the students’ connection with the masjid, both spiritually and socially.
Our goals for the masjid classes include:
- Helping students memorize the Quran with peers who are at a similar level.
- Using repetition and oral transmission (talqeen) in a traditional and effective way.
- Building a strong connection between the students and the masjid.
- Creating a joyful and uplifting environment for the children at the masjid.
- Encouraging friendships and a sense of community within the masjid.
At the same time, we are excited to introduce additional online one-on-one sessions.
The goals of the online classes are:
- Focusing intensively on each student’s individual needs.
- Improving Arabic language skills step-by-step.
- Â Helping students become confident in reading the Quran directly from the Mushaf.
Together, both the masjid classes and online sessions work hand in hand to nurture our students spiritually, academically, and personally.
